- Yes, my IRA dipped in value. But I did not lose a penny. As I have not begun to draw from the account. But through Dollar Cost Averaging, I purchased more shares with continued contributions during the dip.

- Just an example of how SSN was doomed for failure since it's inception. Ida May Fuller received the 1st Social Security ck in 1940. She continued to receive benefits until her death in 1975. Ms. Fuller contributed $24.75 into the system yet collected $22,889 in benefits.

- Don't worry folks. I am sure the President has your concerns in mind while he is on vacation at his $35,000 per week vacation rental at Marthas Vineyard. You should be comforted by the fact he is paying for the rental out of his own pocket.

- It is a shame that we have gotten to this point. I remember this debate when Ronald Reagan was running against Carter. I also remember how the UAW used fear tactics and claimed RR was going to take away their SSN.
